Donald Kendall was a long time employee of the Oregon Department of Transportation. He lost his life on Tuesday, July 22, 2014, in a tragic construction accident. This blog was requested by the Kendall family as a place where friends, family, and co-workers can share memories of Don.

has been set up at Columbia Bank in Pendleton. To contribute, send
checks to Columbia Bank in Pendleton (2101 SW Court Place, Pendleton, OR
97801);
take a
check to your local Columbia Bank and tell them that the account
is at
the Pendleton branch, or send checks to the ODOT District office
(1327 SE 3rd Street Pendleton, OR 97801) and we will make sure
checks are deposited. Please make checks payable to “Don Kendall Memorial
Fund.” If you have further questions feel free to contact Terri in District 12.

I am so glad to see this video and to be able to hear Don's voice. I treasure all my memories of him with my kids and on the roads between Ukiah and La Grande or Pendleton. He had the best way of treating everyone as if they mattered because, to him, they did matter. Gone too soon from our lives.
